In addition to overseeing daily operations, the County Manager and Assistant County Manager are also responsible for creating an annual budget and work plan that outlines the priorities and initiatives for the coming year. The budget and work plan ensure the county has the resources to achieve its goals and serve its constituents effectively.

The County Manager and Assistant County Manager play a key role in advising the Council on matters of policy and administration and in carrying out the Council’s decisions.
